WE RIDE BIKES
The Grateful Treads is made up of riders who call the Jay Peak region their home or their home-away-from-home. We manage trails in the towns of Montgomery, Jay, and Westfield, Vermont with progression parks at both the Montgomery Rec Center and the Jay Rec Center.

Treads Fest 2026
Come for one day, or the whole weekend to ride our favorite local loops! Don't miss our annual BIKE RODEO to test your skills through fun bike challenges, including the Huffy Huck!
Schedule (subject to change):
**Friday September 11th**:
-5:00pm Shuttle rides in Montgomery. Meet at The Jay Cloud Cyclery. Vehicles start leaving for rides at 5:30. Apres following at The Jay Cloud, moving to the Snowshoe Lodge for food & drinks.
**Saturday September 12th**:
-9:00 am. Group rides for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced riders in Montgomery at The Jay Cloud Cyclery (look for Trek Tent with Club banner to check in). Ride signup starts at 9, with rides departing at 10:00. See below for parking.
-1:00 pm: Second wave of group rides, for intermediate and advanced riders departs.
-4:00-9:00 pm: Apres @ The Montgomery Rec Center! Grill & Chill
-4:00 pm: Bike Rodeo- test your skills for this year's Glory! Kid's rodeo starts at 4, with adults to follow.
7:30 pm: MOVIE! "Best Day Ever" presented by Montgomery Center for the Arts & UVM Center for Research on Vermont
**Sunday September 13th**:
-11:00 am: Group rides in Jay for Beginner, Intermediate and advanced riders. Meet at Jay Community Recreational Centre parking lot on Cross Road. Apres at JVI. Note that Rides and Apres on Sunday will be self guided.
